Notes on the “new list” - Nov 2022

Sweden wore me down. They are very nice about it, but they wore me down. So it was time to update the list. The list now features all the caches from 2000. They are sorted by month. The number is where they rank. There are exceptions. I also pulled a list and found I had missed a few caches, but no one told me. So I added that.

If it has ! I excluded it. Most of them are replacements for old caches. Though not all. you can tell by the GC code. It is way higher than the older ones. GC11E was about the last GC code given out for 2000. Codes later than that may be dated in 2000, but were given codes in 2001

The Swedish cache I did add, however, I gave it a ! As it is a replacement as well. It was archived for 8 or more years. Because of that, I did not consider it on my old list. However, so many people are using this list for finding older nearby caches, I figured I should update this list to what works for your Jasmer challenges.

Now, I have four 17-18 year old interns from Sweden coming to my work Monday. Hmmmm perhaps one is a geocacher…
